Anoni ("we," "us," or "our") is the operator of the Anoni anonymous messaging application and related services, including the website and any associated platforms.

We will respond to all legal matters within a reasonable timeframe. For urgent legal matters, please include "LEGAL — URGENT" in your subject line.

Community Safety & Zero Tolerance Policy

Anoni is built on the belief that anonymous expression should be a tool for honest connection — not harm. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for content or behavior that endangers users or others.

Child Safety

The safety of minors is our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or targets minors. This includes:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — immediately reported to relevant authorities and child protection organizations
• Grooming behavior or solicitation of minors
• Any content that sexualizes children in any form

Preventing Harassment & Abuse

We take harassment seriously. Users who engage in targeted harassment, threats, or sustained abusive behavior will be permanently banned. We encourage users to report abuse using the in-app report function or by emailing support@anoni.app.

We review all abuse reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.

Self-Harm & Crisis Content

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to a local emergency service or crisis hotline. Anoni does not allow content that promotes or glorifies self-harm or suicide. We may proactively provide crisis resources to users who appear to be at risk.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

While anonymity is core to our service, we cooperate with law enforcement when legally required. We will respond to valid legal process (court orders, subpoenas) in accordance with applicable law. Requests from law enforcement should be sent to: support@anoni.app with the subject line "Law Enforcement Request."

Copyright Policy

Anoni respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. Users who repeatedly infringe copyright will have their accounts terminated.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on Anoni infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to support@anoni.app with the following information:

1. Your name and contact information (email, phone number)
2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
3. A description of where the infringing content is located on Anoni
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
6. Your physical or electronic signature

We will review all valid notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing the infringing content.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to support@anoni.app with:

1. Your name and contact information
2. Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake
4. Your consent to jurisdiction of the relevant courts
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Intellectual Property Notices

All intellectual property associated with Anoni — including but not limited to the Anoni name, logo, app design, visual identity, software code, features, UI elements, copy, and marketing materials — is owned by or exclusively licensed to Anoni.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or creation of derivative works is strictly prohibited.

Trademarks

The Anoni name and logo are trademarks of Anoni. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our trademarks in connection with any product or service that is likely to cause confusion is prohibited.

Open Source

Some components of the Anoni service may use open-source software. Where applicable, those licenses govern the use of those components and do not affect your use of the Anoni service as a whole.

Feedback License

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant Anoni a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into the Service or other products, without any obligation of compensation or attribution to you.

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Service Provided "As Is"

The Anoni Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

User Content

Anoni does not pre-screen, review, or endorse user-generated content. We are not responsible or liable for any content posted, transmitted, or made available through the Service by users. Use of the Service and reliance on any content is at your own risk.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, applications, or services. Anoni is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Accessing third-party services through Anoni is at your own risk.

Cap on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anoni and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall Anoni's total liability to you exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars ($50).

Jurisdiction-Specific Rights

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Copyright Takedown Procedure

Anoni respects copyright law and responds promptly to claims of copyright infringement. If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced on the Service without authorization, please submit a written notice to us containing the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The specific location on the Service where the infringing material appears
• Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, to the best of your knowledge, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Export Controls & Sanctions

The Anoni Service may be subject to export control laws and trade sanctions regulations applicable in various jurisdictions. You agree not to use, export, re-export, import, or transfer the Service in violation of any applicable export control or sanctions laws in your country or region.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any territory subject to applicable trade sanctions or restrictions
• You are not listed on any applicable government list of prohibited or restricted parties
• Your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you

General Legal Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Legal terms, together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anoni with respect to the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Failure by Anoni to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. Anoni may assign these terms or any rights hereunder without restriction.

Force Majeure

Anoni shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, or other unforeseen events.
