1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Anoni mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Anoni.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to "you" include both you and the organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Anoni. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service, and that such guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are operated by individuals who do not meet the minimum age requirement.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements stated above and that you are not barred from receiving services under applicable law.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of Anoni, you may need to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your information to keep it accurate.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree not to share your login information with any third party. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach of your account by contacting support@anoni.app.

Anoni is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account. Any activity that occurs under your account credentials is your responsibility.

One Account Per Person

You may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of evading suspensions, bans, or restrictions placed on another account. Creating accounts to circumvent moderation actions is a violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Anoni is designed for honest, anonymous expression and connection. You agree to use the Service in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. Specifically, you agree to:

5. Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on Anoni:

Harmful or Illegal Content

Harassment & Abuse

Spam & Manipulation

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Anonymity, Safety & Law Enforcement

Anoni is built to protect the privacy of senders. Anonymity is a core feature of the Service. However, anonymity does not grant users immunity from legal accountability.

We may retain limited technical metadata (such as timestamps or IP address hashes) strictly for safety, abuse prevention, and legal compliance purposes. This data is not shared with other users and is not used to de-anonymize senders in ordinary circumstances.

We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies when legally required to do so — for example, in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or government request in cases involving credible threats to life, child exploitation, or other serious criminal activity.

By using Anoni, you acknowledge and accept that your anonymity may be lifted in such extraordinary circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Anoni Service — including the name, logo, design, software, features, and all related content — is owned by Anoni or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Providing feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service grants Anoni a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use those ideas without any obligation to compensate you.

8. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and submit through Anoni ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Anoni a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights, and that it complies with these Terms.

Anoni does not endorse any User Content and takes no responsibility for it. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. These links are provided for convenience only and do not represent any endorsement by Anoni. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.

We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with Anoni.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anoni and its directors, employees, partners, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD if you have not made any payments.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anoni and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any reason — including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or inactivity.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, indemnification, disclaimer, and limitation of liability clauses) will survive.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

Before initiating formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us at support@anoni.app so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. If you disagree with any updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

15. Contact Information
